John Cressey son of William son of Mighill of Ipswich was born 4 Dec 1692; married 13 Oct, 1720, Sarah, daughter of Cornelius Davis. His home was on Bradford Street, the farm now (1932) owned by his great-great-grandson, Charles H Perley, where he died 4 Sep 1741. Administration granted 5 Oct 1741, to his widow, Sarah (Essex Probate 323:78) She married (2) John Platts.

This is about 6 1/2 pages and goes back to Mighill Cressey who was from probably Kent County, England.
