Are you still searching, Melissa? Some Rowley Mass Cressey family seems to have been married in Pownalboro ME - Wsilliam Cresset m. 1792 Elling/Ellen Cookson. Could your lady be a sister to william. I'm also seaching for abel. abel, joseph and maybe william were early settlers in Palermo Maine. A Joseph Cressey married Ziporrah/Zipora/Ziporah (Evans) in 1810 and are found again in Aroostook county ME in 1850 census. Just ebgan this line as my connect is ALL the EVans. And they married into Moodys also. whitefield/Ballstown/Pittston in Evans/Johnson/Cressey area. No one seems to be hunting these Maine Cressey above.
