James Riker in his "History of Harlem, New York", published 1904 only lists the birth of Joshua and that he obtained a grant of 88 acres on the west side of Stated Island, which was surveyed for him, Dec. 24,1680 and the patent issuued Dec. 30.
Elmer Garfield Van Name in his "Pierre Cresson The Huguegnot of Staten Island Pennsylvania and New Jersey Progeny", Joshua, baptised June 8, 1659, lived on Staten Island. OneJoshua lived at North Branch, NJ in 1720. Named in will of Abraham Larue (1702).
Did you receive a copy of the article copied in London by Helen Lineberger? It sounds interesting.
