Crewdsons of Ulverstone/Hexham

It appears that I am only the third person on the world wide web, trying to trace the crewdson family, and I don't seem to be getting very far.

The only information I have is Richard Crewdson my GGGrandfather was born in Ulverstone around 1848, he married Sarah. They had four children William b 1872, Maggie L. b 1874, John Henry b 1877 and Charlotte (my grandmother) b 1880. Charlotte married Ralph Dawson in Hexham in 1909 and they had seven Children Ralph, George, Norman and Mary. The other three children all died as babies or young children, they were called Selby, Margaret and Richard.

My mother is Mary Dawson and as far as I am aware is the only one of the seven still living.

Can anyone help get me through this brick wall.
