Marc,
This is an excerpt from "The Johannes Crickenberger Family" about Rebecca Krickenberger:

"Rebecca seems to be the second daughter of Johannes and Teckla (Hockman) Krickenberger. She was born November 15, 1800, apparently in Shenandoah Co. She married Jacob Becker, later written Baker. Jacob was the son of John and Anna (Whitmer) Baker, Sr. Jacob was born August 7, 1794. He and Rebecca were married May 30, 1836. Jacob Baker and Randolph Carroll were on the bond for Rebecca Crickenberger, daughter of John Crickenberger. (Bond Book 7, p. 2 R. Co.)

John Baker was born September 16, 1754 and died May 15, 1830, age 75 yrs. 7 mos. 12 days. Anna (Whitmer) Baker was born June 4, 1761 and died May 17, 1838, age 76 yrs. 11 mos. 29 days. They are buried at Friedens Lutheran Church Cemetery. Jacob was their fourth child. Other children in this family were: John Baker, Jr., Susannah, Elizabeth, Mary, Philip, Samuel, and Frances. John and Jacob were the executors of their father's will.

Jacob enlisted in Captain Hook's 58th Regt. Volunteers on July 8, 1813. David Kreckenberger and Joseph Earman also enlisted. David was Rebecca's brother and Joseph Earman would marry Catherine Kreckenberger in October 1813.

Jacob and Rebecca had no children but did raise a niece, a daughter of brother Samuel Baker. They lived on a farm on Rt. 677 near North River. Jacob died April 16, 1870. An old letter said that it was Easter Sunday. Rebecca died June 15, 1876. They are bured at Friedens Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Samuel Carroll was administrator of the estate of Rebecca Baker."

The author believes the Johannes Crickenberger, Rebecca's father, was a Hessian Soldier during the American Revolution. My g-grandmother was also a descendant of Johannes. Hope this is useful information!
