Looking for information on my Great Grand father. Augustus Richard George BERESFORD born England 1836 0r 46. Claimed to have served in the Crimea as a boy Soldier and then in the Indian Mutiny. Later served in American Civil War for confederacy. Present at Bull Run and Shilo. Came to Australia and had obtained the rank of Major in the US.
