My grandfather,Charles Todtleben always spoke of being related to the General,but never said exactly how. And we as children never really thought much about it. Now that I am researching it, I am having a hard time of it. My grandfather came from Germany. I can't find anything on his parents. I do believe the General was his grandfather.
