Hello Bert Cripe,

I was born & raised in Walkerton. My double-great grandfather was John, brother of your Jonathan N. I participated for about 10 yrs in a genealogy group that traced the Cripe ancestrage back to Jacob Greib (sp?). There is a Cripe genealogy group meeting this weekend in Decatur, IL, with one woman, Jann Cripe, from CA, who I believe is descended from Jonathan N., of whom I recall we had some good info and pictures. By the way, I am delighted to see such a request about my triple-great gfather Reinhart, whose gravestone we replaced about 8 yrs ago or so, in North Liberty, IN!
