WHEN HE WAS IN GERMANY HE WAS A COOPER BY TRADE AND HE WAS RUMORED TO HAVE ACCIDENTLY KILLED A STUDENT BEFORE COMMING TO AMERICA. IN 1765 HE AND HIS FAMILY SETTLED PENN AND JOINED A SETTLEMENT OF DURKARDS IN FRANK TOWN OF FRANKTOWN (SEVEN MILES SW OF ALTOONA PA. HE WAS A LARGE LAND OWNER OF ABT 700 ACRES. i HAVE MORE CURRENT INFO ON THE FAMILY. GIVE ME A HOLLAR WE CAN TALK AND SWAP INFO. THANKX dAVID cRIPE
