Did John Cripe marry Catherine Stutzman or Rebecca VanHorn? or was he married twice?
I am working with a family tree that is really old. Maybe the 1920's.

It deals with the following:

Peter Pippinger b. 4 Mar 1795 d. 14 Mar 1879
m. Ester Cripe b. 21 Jun 1793 d. 28 Jan 1855
Peter was the son of John and Katie(VanHorn) Pippinger and Ester was the dau. of John and Rebecca (VanHorn) Cripe.

Also:

Jacob Greib signed in his own hand the tolls of the "Richard and Elizabeth" which landed at Philadelphia 28 Sep 1733 with "143 Palatines" of the Rhineland Palatine State of Germany, where Alexander Mack, founder of the "German Baptist Brethern" (Dunkards) had been born. The Captain's list of the exact age of each passenger, shows "Jacob Gripe, 21." This is by Daniel Paul Atwood gggs of Peter Pippinger and Esther Cripe)
