There is a book in the LDS Library written on the Pippenger Family including the Cripe Family. I can't remember the name of the book, but it is on microfiche and can be ordered through your local LDS Library. I had first seen it at Salt Lake City, but didn't get all I wanted, so ordered the microfiche, which stays at my local LDS library for whenever I want to look at it. This book should help you sort out the Pippenger and Cripe families.
