Hi Darlene,

after having read Shawn's post, I was almost sure that William Floyd (which I didn't have at that time) and William Elwood (which I had from Alice Beard's data: http://members.aol.com/alicebeard/cripe.html) were the same person. Just to be sure, I mentioned Myrtle Leek, wife of William Elwood, in my post.

So this is not the one, though it's strange to me that John William Cripe and Alice Laura Stong married in 1886 and got William Elwood in 1912, according to Shawn's post. You state that Eva was the youngest child and born in 1905.

Something is wrong here. For the time being, I suppose William Floyd and William Elwood are brothers, but maybe someone else can shed a light on this mystery.
