A skeleton in the closet? Hey Alice!!!

Jacob Cripe (1815 - 1870, Bond Co., IL)
A skeleton in the closet? I wondered why Jacob was buried alone in Noffsinger cemetery, while his wife Mary (Polly) Rench was buried elsewhere (Durem cemetery?) with some of their 6 children. Mary died at age 46 in Aug. 1864. Only one month later, Jacob married Barbara Beanblossum. Their daughter Sarah Cripe was born Feb. 12, 1885, only 6 months after Mary died! Obviously, Jacob was fooling around with Barbara BEFORE Mary died... How did Mary die? Jacob died 6 years later, and Barbara left for Ohio soon after. Hmmmmm? Any insight cousins?
