Andrew Crocker, Saratoga Dist., Albany Co, NY 1779
I am seeking genealogical data on the ANDREW CROCKER, who lived in the Saratoga District of Albany County, New York in 1779.
Andrew Crocker's real estate was assessed at $5.00 (Continental dollars) in 1779.So either he was a farmer, who was new to the area and just starting out; or, he was a tradesman with a small village lot.
There were two other men on the Saratoga District Tax List with the surname of Crocker. They were:
1.Levy Crocker, Sr. a/k/a Levi Crocker, Sr.; and,
2. Levy Crocker.
Was Andrew Crocker related to either of these men, and if so how?
The Saratoga District of Albany County, NY included the present day towns of Stillwater, Saratoga, Northumberland and Moreau in Saratoga County, NY and the present day towns of Ft. Edward, Greenwich and Easton in Washington County, NY.
Any biographical information on the Andrew Crocker, his wife, his children and his parents will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your help.
