Ginny,
A couple of us (other Crocker researchers and me) were digging into the Isle of Wight Crocker history thoroughly a couple of years ago.We documented the older connections as well as we could with the evidence available. The early 1800s is about where we stopped, but one line that stayed there is documented in the history by James Francis Crocker from early 1900s.We found some mistakes in his older genealogy but he knew the more recent people (mid-1800s forward) first hand so would likely not make mistakes there.Iw ould have to check to see if any of the names you mention match (some sound familiar).
Do you have any living Crocker relatives that you know of?My own connection to IOW dates back about 300 years (my ancestor left about 1740).
