My gradfathers brother Will went to New Zealand in the early 1900's but we do not know if he had any family..... My grandfathers name was Alfred born on Juliane St in Plymoth England in 1886... I am trying to trace my fathers family. Reginald Crocker born July 26 1920 in Plymoth England to Alfred & Elsie Crocker. Could we be part of the link of the Crockers you are searching? We are presently in California
I am giving my dad an 80th birthday party in August and I would like to find some of his genealoy for the party.......Alfred had 2 brothers (Will & Herbert) & 8 sisters.......Alfreds parents owned a home on Julian St in Plymoth at the bend of the street near the beach where the Mayflower sailed. Alfreds fathers names is unknown, what is known is that he was a Sea Captain of a merchant ship that mysteriously disappeared in 1890-91 with no trace. There were two shipps traveling together they went into a deep fog and the Betsy Lee did not come out the sister ship was alright.Alfred, Elsie & three children lived at the homeplace until they came to America in Feb of 1922.They sailed on the SS Baltic......Any help would be appreicated.....
Thanks
Patti
