Joseph Crowfoot Joseph Crowfoot was born 1630 in Tarvin, Cheshire, Wales, England and died April 8, 1678 in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He married Mary Hillier on April 15, 1658 in Windsor, Harford County, Connecticut Colony. Mary Hillier was born December 25, 1639 in Windsor, Harford County, Connecticut Colony, and died May 1 1681. She also married John Mathews. Mary is the daughter of John Hillier and Ann. Children: 1. Joseph Crowfoot born June 29, 1660 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony an died Sept 1722 in Wethersfield, Harford County, Connecticut Colony. He married Margaret December 30, 1686 in Windsor, Harford County, Connecticut Colony 2. Mary Crowfoot was born December 4, 1661 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony 3. John Crowfoot born August 2, 1663 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony an died June 24, 1738 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He married Mary Sarah Kent April 7, 1692 4. James Crofutt (the first of many name change spellings) married Persis Gregory 5. Daniel Crowfoot born January 23, 1669 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony and died January 23, 1706 in Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He married Phoebe 6. Matthew Crowfoot born April5, 1672 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony and died July 16, 1718 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts y Colony. HE married Hannah Knowlton December 17 1702 in Springfield Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony 7. David Crowfoot born October 11, 1674 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony 8. Sarah Crowfoot born August 13, 1677 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony and died March 28, 1678 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. I have many spelling of Crowfoot in my family, down through the years, Crowfoot, Crofutt, Crofut, and last Croft.
