I was at the Crolls grave sites not too long ago. In a cluster on the extreme North end there are: Daniel W Croll Co G 33 IA Inf. beside him to his rt is a stone with the word Grandmother-Eunice Croll. to her rt is a stone marked John Croll. Then in adjacent row at the foot of Daniel W's grave is a stone marked Mother-Father=Mary R 1865-1934 and James W 1861-1943 (Mary Rebecca nee Davis and James W Croll are parents of Duke Croll) to its rt is a stone with the following: Dan E 29 Aug 1902-6 Nov 1904 and Lee G 7 Apr 1900-28 Apr 1903. Cleo Cloud (Duke) Croll is also buried at Neodesha. James and Rebecca had several boys: Forrest B b3 feb 1889, John L b8 Dec 1891, Cleo C (he never used this name always went by Duke) b13 Dec 1892, Emmit V b 7 Aug 1898, Lee C b7 Apr 1900, Dan E b29 Aug 1902, and Abraham Russel b 4 May 1906. Duke married my grandfathers sister, Nellie Modesta Jones b3 Apr 1900 d19 May 1942. Duke died in 1986. They are both buried there in Neodesha. Duke married again later in life to an Opal (nee Nunally) who was a widow. I was very close to Uncle Duke. Do you have any info on his mother/father etc? regards, joan
