Hello Debbie. I am also looking at Grassicks during that time period. Margaret Grassick married George Beattie in 1835. They then left for Canada, where they settled in Nichol Twp, Guelph, Wellington Co, Ontario. Margaret was born in 1818, the child of James Grassick and Jean Forbes. So I don't think there's a direct connection, but I'd like to compare notes with you on your group and how the various Strathdon Grassicks relate to each other.
