Hi Art,

I was hoping your posting was some good news. I still have next to nothing, though I did get a copy of Elizabeth (Gambil) Shaffer/Anderson's will - 1847 in Williamson Co., TN. In that she names 2 of her grandkids, which doesn't mean there might have been others but she only named 2: Tennessee Cromer (female) & Richard S. Cromer, whom I suspect was named Richard Shaffer Cromer (for his Richard Shaffer grandfather. (Sally/Sarah Shaffer married Henry Cromer in Tennessee. Henry Cromer is the only Cromer that I know of in early Tennessee. I'm not in touch with any other descendants yet - but I'm ever hopeful - and I know next to nothing about him. Somewhere, someone has to know something! If you learn anything, I'd appreciate hearing.
Thanks. Joan Rose-gggggranddaughter of Henry Cromer
