Hi, I can't shed any light on your Cromers but I'm wondering if they could be related to mine, since the name isn't that common & especially wasn't back then in Tenn. I'm descended from a Henry Cromer, b. 1785 N.C. in Davidson Co. on an 1811 tax list - Capt. Bardley's company. He was in Rutherford Co. on 1820 census & from 1830 through 1860 was in Williamson Co., Tenn. He died before 1870. He had a son named Joseph Cromer. Do you know anything about William Cromer, who married Sally Montgomery in 1830 Gibson Co.? Where did he go? Any info you can share?

Thanks. Joan jmrh@midwest.net
