South Carolina Civil War Cromers

Looking for information about two CROMER family members from Newberry/Abbeville who died in the civil war in 1862. #1 GEORGE M CROMER born Feb.5 1822 died Aug. 6 1862 at Charlottesville general hospital Ablemarie Co.Charlottesville Va. He probably died as a result of wounds recieved in the battle of Malvern Hill Va. July 1 1862 #2 JOHN P. CROMER born Jan 20 1834 died Nov. 22 1862 at Manchester Baptist Church Hospital in Manchester Va. He probably died as a result of wounds recieved in the battle of Maryland Heights on Sept 12/13 1862 or the battle of Antietam on Sept 17 1862. Looking for confirmation of the above , unit/regiment information and personal family information. All information appreciated. 7-7-02 5:05 pm Richard Mcginnis
