Looking for information about GEORGE CROMER born 1750 Newberry SC died 1822 Abbeville SC ( Methodist Preacher ) son of JACOB CROMER SR. and ELIZABETH YOST --------son of JOHN MICHAEL CROMER GEORGE was married to ELIZABETH [ GREY ] RUFF IN 1807 in Newberry Sc. she died 1836/39 Abeville. Daughter of GEORGE GREY SR. and EVE MARAGRET [ EGMONT] DE PEYSTER . GEORGE served in the revolutionary war in Col. Philemon Waters regiment during the fall of Charleston Sc. on May 11-1780 He is a patriot of the DAR. GEORGE and ELIZABETH had two children JOHN PHILLIP CROMER born Aug. 20 1809 and GEORGE WESTLY CROMER born Jan. 25-1812.
