Looking for James Cromer's parents, Martin Cromer and Frances Jameson. James was born in MO. On 1870 Franklin Cty., Boone Township, MO census, he is listed with Frances Davis, age 63. His age was listed as 20. On April 24, 1870, he married Virginia E. Armstrong in Franklin Cty., MO. Not sure about children, except that they moved to TX and on 1900 Tarrant Cty., TX census a James Cromer is listed with V.E. (wife), sons Clayton, Britton (my grandfather), Ed, and daughter Birdie, and granddaughter Maud Carter. My father's name was Geron Clayton Cromer, born Aug. 23, 1911 in Paris, TX. He had 2 brothers, Cyril and Walter. His mother's name was Bertha Jewel Ennis, born 1890 in TX.
I understand Martin was in Indiana before 1830 but have mothing else on Martin. Please, please, if anyone has anything on this line of Cromers I am anxious to hear more.
My email address is jwalker1@sport.rr.com
