G.M.Crook B.1842-D.Aug 21,1934"Matt".-Lived to be 92yrs old
Full name is Gade Matt Crook on his marriage certificate I noticed he signs his name G.M.Crook but on W.S.Crook death certificate he goes by Matt and Robt.L.Crook he signs Matt as well.

Spouse:Mary Jane Averette also signed as M.J.Averette and sometimes just Mary J. Averette. Married May 02,1854.

Children:
Lucy R. Crook "Ruth." B.Jan 01,1883-D.June 22, 1931.

Robt. L.Crook B.May 03,1864-D.Sept 27,1927.

W.S.Crook B.Jan 15,1857-D.March 19,1919
Thats the one's I know about going only by Death Certificates. I'm sure there are more. And Matt's father was James Crook (Mother)Martha Southern both signed off on Matt's death certificate in 8-19-1934. But I dont believe it was actually James that signed it or even Martha because neither one of them but where they were born instead put what looks to me to be a "?"-question mark. Because Gade"Matt" was 92yrs old. Hope you can find if he is James B. Crook or James Andrew Crook. I was leaning more toward James B. Crook because Lauderdale, TN shows up with one since most seem to have lived in or around there. Maybe you can find a death certificate or a birth or maybe military records because even though we know that all were in the military I don't know how to trace that part of it. Thanks again for your time. Sincerely, Cassie.
