While searching my West lines, I also read in various versions, the story of Pocahontas Rolfe's trip to England and her death there about 1616.Part of the story was that her cousin Rachel became pregnant while there by Sir Thomas West, 2nd Lord de la Warr. She had a son named Thomas (called Toby) West aka Totopotomoi. She and the boy went to Bermuda and he was educated there. She married Major Joseph Croshaw. This was probably around 1622-4.It seems as though she might have been the first wife; and would possibly explain Unity (Croshaw) West's closeness to John Rolfe and his son Thomas.
