THANKS to Ruth T. for taking pics tombstones at the Center Cemetery of Halifax, Windham Co., Vermont, for our ancestors:

Arthur CROSIER: "Sacred to the mermory of Mr. Arthur Crosier who died Oc 6 1811 in the 76 year of his age".

JAMES CROSIER
DIED AUG. 29, 1860
AGE 77 YRS.
POLLY CROSIER
DIED JULY 18, 1872.
AGE 86 YRS.

RUFUS CROSIER: "Born May 21, 1824, Died Mar. 26, 1903, Co. F 16 Reg. VT. Vol.
CHLOE ANN STACY HIS WIFE 1830-1926"
Note: There is a U.S. flag in G.A.R. flagstaff beside the headstone.

1) HENRIETTA, Daughter Rufus & Chloe Ann. CROSIER
Died Nov. 5, 1861. AE. 13 yrs. 8? mos.

separate tombstone:
2) ELMER CROSIER, [son Rufus & Chloe Ann. CROSIER]
DIED OCT. 23, 1893
AGE. 33 YRS. 9 MOS. 28 DYS.
Where as it has pleased the Almighty God to remove from Our midst my beloved husband and may he rest in peace. Erected by his beloved wife Mary Crosier.
DORA M., WIFE OF ELMER CROSIER. DIED NOV. 21, 1886. AE. 36 YRS. 7 MS.
