Lucius Crosier - Wisconsin Civil War Soldier
Posted by: Marcia Staton (ID *****9340) Date: January 13, 2008 at 15:48:22

I am one of a group working on an official history of the Wisconsin 23rd Regiment . One of our men was Lucius A. Crosier
Residence Lodi WI;
Enlisted on 1/4/1864 as a Private.

On 1/4/1864 he mustered into "F" Co. WI 23rd Infantry
He was transferred out on 7/1/1865

On 7/1/1865 he transferred into WI 35th Infantry
(date and method of discharge not given)

He was living at Delton, WI in 1889

It is possible that Amelia & Joseph were his parents & that Mary was his wife. I have no proof of that.

Crosier>> , Amelia E., b. 1819, d. 1856, s/w Joseph M. << Crosier>> , Section 1
<< Crosier>> , Joseph M., b. 1818, d. 1888, s/w Amelia E. << Crosier>> , Section 1
<< Crosier>> , Mary, d. 1852, d. Apr 28, 1923, w/o Lucius, s/w Thomas Burton, Section 1

Burton, Ella Mae (<< Crosier>> ), b. 1872, d. Dec 20, 1941, s/w Thomas J. Burton, Section 1 Ella Mae might have been his daughter, Again I have no proof. I don't know where Lucius is buried.
