Trying to see if there’s a connection here with what me and my sister have put together. Here’s what we know: Charles Clarendon Crossley from Pennsylvania, died c. 1908 was the father of Valois Earl Crossley b. July 23, 1894 Perrinton Mi, d. January 24, 1960 Valois married Lotta Mae Martin on December 31, 1924 Valois and Lotta had one son, Charles Val Crossley (b. 1926), who is my grandfather. I have a letter written by Valois that states his father died when Valois was 14 (which would be c. 1908/1909). My sister found a George and Eliza Crossley from Pennsylvania that had a son named Charles and that Charles died in 1908. The date of Charles’ death corroborates with what my great-grandfather wrote but I would like to see if there’s any more information available that could solidify the connection between Charles Clarendon Crossley and George and Eliza Crossley.
