More London/Kent Crouchers!

Hello
I am trying to trace my father's family. His name is Norman James Croucher (born Kensington 1926)
His father was James Henry Albert (painter/decorator, born 1900 in Greenwich), and his mother was Winifred Gladys Druitt.

My great grandfather was also James Croucher (born either in London or Kent around 1874). His occupation was listed as a meat carver and house decorator. He married Emma Clements from Reading, Berks.

It has been difficult to trace the line as this family seem to have been nomads before then! There are links to the Isle of Wight, because Great Aunts have mentioned cousins there, but we haven't been able to make that link on paper yet. It seems that Croucher girls are rare in this line, there are lots of boys!

I would be grateful for any info.

Regards Kerry (Croucher) Leach
