This is the only data I have on the Craps family.I would appreciate any corrections or additions.
JOHN LAWRENCE CRAPS was born February 02, 1808 in SC, and died October 04, 1881 in Lexington Co., SC.He married ELIZABETH VICK in SC.She was born October 08, 1815 in SC, and died July 26, 1889 in Lexington Co., SC.John and Elizabeth are both buried in the Craps Family Cemetery, Gilbert, Lexington Co., SC.
Children of JOHN CRAPS and ELIZABETH VICK are:
1.LYDIA VERMARIA CRAPS, b. February 23, 1843, Lexington Co., SC; d. November 23, 1922, Lexington Co., SC; m. REUBEN JASPER BLACK, 1860, Lexington Co., SC; b. 1840, Leesville, Lexington Co., SC; d. 1873, Lexington Co., SC.Lydia also married John Paul Corley, born April 25, 1846, after 1883.She was buried in the Nazareth Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lexington Co., SC.She is listed in the 1880 census in Gilbert Hollow, Lexington Co., SC.

1.George Pierce Black, born 1861, died 1883, married Eliza Harmon.
2.Washington Elmore Black, born 1864, married Etta Goff.
3.Alice Josephine Black, born 1866, died 1888, married Thomas Addy.
4.Lottie Carene Black, born 1868, died 1955, married William Boyette & John David Bureaugard Harmon.
Reuben was buried in the Black Family Cemetery, McCartha Springs, Lexington Co., SC.He is listed in the 1880 census in Gilbert Hollow, Lexington Co., SC.He served in the Confederate Army in the Civil War.

EVELYN BLACK, 1881, Lexington Co., SC; b. 1856, Leesville, Lexington Co., SC; d. 1946, Leesville, Lexington Co., SC.He and his wife Evelyn were listed in the 1880 in Gilbert Hollow, Lexington Co., SC (with his parents-in-law).Evelyn and George settled near the old Black homestead.

3.PAUL HAMILTON CRAPS, b. 1850, Lexington Co., SC; d. SC; m. ROSANNA G. CROUT, Lexington Co., SC; b. 1850, Lexington Co., SC; d. SC.Paul Hamilton Craps enlisted at age 17 August 16, 1861 in Company "C", 15th SC Infantry, private, wounded in arm at Sharpsburg, MD September 17, 1862, paroled and sent to Fort McHenry, MD for exchange, admitted to Chimborazo Hospital #4 October 24, 1862, furloughed November 2, 1862, later wounded on left side of body, furloughed for 50 days.
Rosanna was the widow of Chelsea C. Snelgrove, died April 25, 1862, son of C. G. Snelgrove, married Rosanna G. Crout, enlisted January 14, 1862 in Company “H”, Holcombe Legion, private, died from asthma April 25, 1862.
