According to Glenn Crowe's article in Vol. 1 of "The Heritage of Cherokee County North Carolina" dated 1987, Mrs. Manervy Morrow Crowe, was the wife of Glenn Jackson Crowe, his parents.Glenn Jackson Crowe was the youngest son of General Jackson Crow, born 22 June 1852, to William and Lucinda Dyer Crow.
John G. Crow you have born 4 Sep. 1872 was likely John C. Crow that married Florence E. Rose on 09 January 1894 in Cherokee Co. NC, and were the parents of Glenn Jackson Crowe (about 1911-1946 NC) that married Manervy Morrow about 1941 in Unaka, Cherokee Co. NC.
I had the privilege of brief visit with Mrs. Manervy Morrow Crowe this past June 2003 and saw the Crowe's General Merchandise Store she continued to operate until 1965.
It is my opinion this line of Crow's would be our "Yellow" DNA Crow Cousins if a living male Crow(e) from the line would test with us. Visit the growing DNA Crow(e) families at; http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~crow2000/crowdna.htmhttp://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~crow2000/crowdna.htm
Hope this may have been of some help to you.
