Well we all know that most if not all of the Cruce's came from Ireland to the U.S. but what about before that?

I have found information that a large number of Cruce's left France for Northern Ireland. Before this time I could not find the Cruce name in Ireland. I believe they left France because of religious persecution. This was in the early 1600's.

I have also found the Cruce surname originated in southern Italy. Other than that I do not know.

E-mail me direct and I will try to help you find you're own ancesters.

Neal Fowler
