Your relative must have been the son of John Pharris Cruce born in SC abt 1807 died abt 1900.

They are both in the lineage of Richard Cruce that came from Ireland around 1773 with 3 sons, one of which was Stephen Cruce.

My Husband was from this lineage too. But from John Pharris' brother Stephen Lewis.
