My records indicate Isaac Newton Cruce b. 1756 in Blefast, Ireland d. 1816 Livingston Co. KY, married ca 1873 Jane ?Brown? b. ca 1765 d. 1814 Caldwell County, KY. Sorry I can't confirm BROWN as Isabella Jane's maiden name since my documents only list the Brown as questionable, but perhaps this will help.

I would appreciate any information you may have about some of Isaac Newton Cruce's descendants, especially the children of Isaac's son Stephen S. Cruce who married Nancy Duff in 1811 in Caldwell County, KY. My g-grandfather Stephen Jesse Cruce, b. April 22, 1835 Hickory Withe, TN, named one of his daughters for his maternal grandmother whose surname was Duff. Therefore, I think my line of Cruces may be connected to Isaac Newton through Washington. If you have more questions, please contact me. I'll gladly share info.
