The only Cruce reference book I know of is called "An Outline of Cruces" by Priscilla
Montgomery. Address: 1103 Hamilton Drive, Roswell, New Mexico 88201. Phone (505)622-3224.

From this book, it appears that the progenitor of the Southern Cruce family was one Richard Cruce who came to SC from Ireland in the late 1700's. One of his son's was a man named Isaac Newton Cruce who apparently died in Kentucky. Perhaps this is your Cruce ancestry.
