A Crumpecker among you!

I see I have a lot to learn concerning types or methods to use for keeping the family tree. My information comes from the 1920's work done by F.H. Crumpacker and work that Virginia Polling shared with me.

I am a descendent of Granville Crumpecker b. 1842 or 44 in Virginia (possibly Franklin Co.) who was brother to: Sirinda, Henry B., Miranda, Gustavus, Owen, Annie, Helena, & Peter Samuel. I know that some of Granville's line used Crumpacker and Crumpecker, while I have stumbled upon some of the Gustavus line that uses Crumpecker also.

I'm interested in filling in the blanks. I am wondering where the name changed and updating and compiling more information.

I would appreciate any links or tips. I will also be happy to share the info that I have.
