HANNAH PARKER BREWSTER born CT 1768
I am looking for birth location data on HANNAH PARKER, born 30 DEC 1768 somewhere in "CT" to RUEBEN PARKER (born Wallingford, CT 1738 - D: Athens Co., OH 1842) and wife HANNAH CHAPMAN (B: ? - 1855 New Plymouth, Vinton Co., OH).She could have been born in either Wallingford (where her father came from) or Waterbury (where the parents were married and presumably the location of her mother's family. She may have been an only child. Her father, RUEBEN PARKER may have been a soldier in the Rev. War Service in the Conn. Militia. He reportedly received "Bounty Land" in Buternuts Twp., Otsego Co., NY and in the 1790s he moved there with wife, HANNAH CHAPMAN of Waterbury, CT, whom he married in Waterbury on 10 Dec 1764. I have no trace of her parents after 1800 where they last appear in the census of Otsego Co, following the marriage of their daughter there in 1797. RUEBEN PARKER was the son of JOHN PARKER, III of Wallingford, and a long string of Parkers that went back there for ~100 years. I have the Parker line there in Wallingford fairly well documented, but any Rev. War military service by RUEBEN PARKER in the Ct. Militia, which have been the basis to have received "Bounty Land", is missing. These are my 4th Great grandparents by the daughter which issued from that marriage, a HANNAH PARKER, born somewhere in CT in ~1768, and who in 1797, when she was age 29 and he was age 39, married NATHAN BREWSTER (in Butternuts Twp., Otsego Co., NY - where he had received "Bounty Land" for his war-time service). He was born in 1758 in New Windsor, Orange Co., NY and a Rev. War Vet from the 4th NY Militia and died in Athens Co.,. OH in 1842. HANNAH PARKER BREWSTER died in New Plymouth, Vinton Co., OH in 1855.
HANNAH PARKER BREWSTER and husband NATHAN BREWSTER, in turn had 8 children, including a daughter, MARTHA BREWSTER(born 1802 in Butternuts Twp., Otsego Co., NY - and died in 1892 - Dallas Co., IA), who in 1824 in Marietta, Washington Co., OH married a POWELL HOFF (VA 1801 - 1870 Dallas Co., IA). These were my 2x greatgrandaparents. Any help on establishing the military record or service in the Rev. War of RUEBEN PARKER? Please contact
