I went to census and did a lookup there. From what I could find on this couple, they were in NY and claimed birth there.Below is the data on them:

It does look like Dorcas died between 1870 & 1880.Ella is not showing up on the 1880 census that I can locate, and Annie would have then been of an age to have been married by then.
