Hi again Sharon - yes it's odd the Prindles were/are so prominent in CT and my tough link is from CT > Ohio (presumably because of the Western Reserve purchase and the Prindle links to that).... Mordecai had a son William (:shoemaker:) who married in Derby in 1821, Betsey Ann Smith. They had a son Abram 'Nelson" Prindle b 1822 who had his own family. Betsy survived to old age, but later census does not show her living with William Prindle. I am really after the links to my G3 grandfather William Prindle,(farmer) b 1802 CT and parents declared as CT natives on later US Censuses. My Gfather WP married Julia Amanda Beecher in Sharon CT in 1827. They later moved to Ohio. I don't know if these 2 Williams are the same person, as at the time it was common for tradespeople to try farming. It is possible, as some of the Prindles drifted north toward NY from the coast after the A. Revolution. And separation and divorce happened even back then. So far none of my crowd showed up in Texas - but I married a Texan. happy trails, nn Notify Administrator about this message?
