Thank You for replying to my post!!I am sorry it has taken so long to reply to yours, I was out of town.I have searched for Ignatius W. Johnson's birth and cannot find him.Ignatius F. Johnson was taken in by George W. Lee from a children's home after his mother died.He lived about 70 miles from Cleveland and I do not know how he found Ignatius F. or why he only took Ignatius and not Vera, Bisel or Agnes.Ignatius F. took the Lee name though I do not believe he was actually adopted by the Lees.Where did you get the information that Bisel changed his name??You mention that there is no date for this text?I have tried to find Agnes, Bisel and Vera on the later censuses, but so far no luck.I do not know if they were adopted or not. Thus, it would be difficult to find a marriage certificate for them.I have the WWI registration card for Ignatius F. Lee.He served as a chaplain and spent time at a base in New York.I have also seen the I W Johnson death listed for Washington County, Ohio, but I was not sure if this was Ignatius W. Johnson since the full name was not listed, so I have not as of yet sent for the certificate. I am really stumped on this.If you have any more insights into this I would greatly appreciate any help!
