Tanner surname listed in your research

James, I hope you check these messages. I noticed in your query about the CT census that you listed a Tanner surname. My Tanners appear to be center in Litchfield County especially in Salisbury . I am especially looking for information on Arthur Tanner who was an uncle to my grandfather Charles Wesley Tanner. He supposedly owened an iron forge and homes in Miami Fl, and on one of the Thousand Islands. His son also named Arthur was Secretary of The State of Connecticut? Does any of this ring a bell with you? Any help would be appreciated.
