WESTON,Joshua &CROMWELL/MIDLTWN,CT 1760s

Joshua WESTON & family came to what is now the Cromwell area above Middletown in the early 1760s from Pembroke, MA. Here he administered the estate of a half-brother, Noah; buried two children in 1762 and 1780, before dying in 1784. Despite his long tenure in the area there seem to be no records of land ownership. He likely had other children with his wife Lucy, but again there is no record. I am seeking information regarding his life in Cromwell, and specifically the birth of other children, ie Nehemiah and Noah. ifhw172(at)utxvms(dot)cc(dot)utexas(dot)edu
