In "History of Hadley" by Sylvestor Judd there is a reference to Elizabeth Ely, of Charlestown, NH married Roswell Smith on
Nov. 10, 1846. She was born Oct. 14, 18___ . Daughter, Emma ELizabeth b. Nov.19, 1849.
Hadley is in NH but the family may have moved to CT.
