GEORGE, Joseph and family moved from Mexico, Oswego Cnty, NY in the 1870's to Danielsonville, Killingly, CT.
his wife: Mary Margaret Carpenter
sons: William Arthur, b 25 Feb 1877
Julian J, b 1873
Charles J, b?
Omer A, b?
I can hardly find a trace of them in CT vital records! In land records in Oswego they are listed between 1870-1890 as living in CT. In CT Joseph is in one land record in Killingly Cnty. This is the only mention of him from a paid research request to Killingly History center. Joseph was born in France, he moved to CT for work. The family was strict Catholic. Looking for birth records of the children. Looking for death and burial place of Joseph. Tha family moved back to NY after Joseph died around 1905. Need help with resources for this time period in CT, most deal with colonial time period. Does anyone have a suggestion?
