Hi Martha,
This is pretty wonderful! I am descended from Michael HUMPHREY & Priscilla GRANT, too.
Michael>Lt. Samuel>Capt.Noah>Hannah m. Dr. Samuel BARBER>Giles>Diadema m. Selden WHITE>Willard>Frances m. Herbert HAGEN (My grandparents).
I am really interested in finding the WHITES from Canton CT(near Hartford). Possibly from Barkhamsted (SW corner of CT). I think there was possibly some mingling of these families with the Whites but haven't been able to go back past Selden WHITE (possibly from Barkhamsted).
One of these days, I want to make the trip to CT...especially Windsor, Simsbury, Canton and maybe Springfield, MA. Our ancestors mingled alot...4 lines came over on the Mary & John together. I went to England in 1997 to see the towns some of them came from...It was a great trip! I would love to hear what you have discovered.
