Noticed that some of the names you were researching are Bemis, Gardner and Grover. I am researching the John Gardner family that moved to Ohio from New York in 1823. Their oldest son married Ann Alexander who had two sisters that married Grover brothers Asa and Oliver, and a grandson that married Emeline Bemis daughter of James D. Bemis. If any of this sounds familiar let me know, maybe we can compare notes. Gale
