Mrs. James Rice from West Hartford

Trying to find the family of Mrs. James Rice. I have my g-grandfathers orbit and it list 2 daughters but gives no first names. I believe their first names could be Marion and Norma Catherine. I have found a census report from 1920 that list Marion as being 4 1/2 years old living with her parents Norman Gentle and Mary (Grant) Gentle. Also Norman's parents Cuthbert C. and Catherine (Millen) Gentle. Norman and Mary and Catherine came from Scotland and Cuthbert form Ireland. Living at 85 Mian St. Winthrop, Massachusetts. Looks like they came to Massachusetts in the early 1900's. They may have gotten married on March 20, 1908 and had my grandfather on Feb. 2, 1908 in Boston but was given away shortly after and we don't know why. In a letter dated in 1940 it says they split up but we have found different believe it to be cause they weren't married. On a letter dated in 1941 it says he has a sister named Norma Catherine Gentle living at 85 Main St. Mary died in 1945 from cancer. Norman died in 1974 and lived to 88, he died in St.Petersburg, Fl and that is where the other sister lived at the time of his death. It also list 4 grandchildren. He worked for the Boston gas co. Any help would be so great I'm at such a dead end and I would love to find out more about this family and why maybe my grandfather was given away. Thanks Michele
