On list " The 169 Towns of Connecticut" by Paul W. Prindle, there is no mention of East Port Chester in either the "Present names" or the "Settled from, Set off from" (old names).
Chester was settled in 1692 Settled from Saybrook and Durham. The parish of Pattaquonk was set off from Saybrook in 1836.
