Here is what I have; maybe you can help me too.

My grandmother is Vivian Eclypse Cubine, born about 1925. She was born in Kemp, OK under a full eclipse on an indian reservation but she now resides in Texas.

Her father was Robert O. Cubine, born about 1898, and her mother was Freddie Marie Cubine, born about 1904.

Robert and Freddie had four children. My grandmother, Bobbie (living;girl), Joe (living), and Robert (died young of Scarlet fever).

I can't find Robert's parents or any siblings of his!!!! My grandmother has told me that we are in relation to the George Cubine who was murdered by Bob Dalton during the Dalton Gang Raid in Coffeyville, KS 1892.

so ...

George Cubine was born in Mechanicsburg, VA 1856 to A.P. Cubine, born about 1832, and Melvina Cubine, born about 1835.

A.P. and Melvina had five children. George, William (1858), John P. (1861), and two girls.

I can't find any children or spouses for William or John.

George, at 19, went to live with his uncle John W. Cubine in Coffeyville. John is A.P.'s brother and was at the time married to Alice D. Cubine.

John, born about 1845, and Alice, born about 1856, had four children. Claude and three girls.

I can't find any children or a spouse for Claude. Nor can I find information John's ans A.P.'s parents.

George Cubine married Alice A. Cubine, born about 1864, and they had three children. Charles and two girls. Only Charles survived beyond one year.

I can't find any cildren or a spouse for Charles.

It seems to me that George's generation is who would have "had" my grandmother. I am just missing that connection. It is also the generation that would have placed the Cubines' in OK; seeing as how my grandmother was born there. Let me know anything you have and maybe we can piece some things together ... together.
